About the event

Lux presents new, unique content that combines intelligent progressions and playful flows. Explore the balance of fluid & dynamic movement as well as the constant evolution of trust & communication in acrobatic partnerships. Integrating these principles, Lux has developed a series of progressions that he is excited to bring to SC! Both classes will titillate the brain and challenge the body through precise calibration and technique refinement. Join Lux for a learning experience that will guide you to reinvent your practice and redefine your abilities.

Spinning Calibrations (12:30 - 3) - Lux's classic spinning flows including ninja star refinements and recently developed material. Prereqs: comfortable in basic poses such as shoulder stand, star, and foot-to-hand. This first workshop leans more towards intermediate, however, advanced practitioners are invited to challenge their skills with new drills and progressions.

3-4 Break - Several places nearby for food, coffee, or just a walk to the ocean!

More Spins Plus Pops (4 - 6:30) - We will study how hand grip affects rotation and how that rotation can be exploited to facilitate velocity. Prereqs: 1 year of acro practice (six months with other movement experience). This second workshop is geared towards more advanced practitioners, but intermediate variations will be offered; you're invited to challenge yourself here!

Cost: Early Bird (by 4/10) $45 for one workshop; $80 for both ; After 4/11 - $50 / $85

will take you to the MindBody page - make sure you're looking in the workshops tab and scroll down to find the 4/20 workshop
